Temporary Stay Permit (KITAS) holder who works as an expert and investor can apply for Permanent Stay Permit (KITAP) after living in Indonesia for at least 5 consecutive years.

As for foreigners married to Indonesian citizens, they can apply for Permanent Stay Permit (KITAP) after 2 years of marriage.
